ABOUT MANGA LEDGER
THE BEGINNING
Having used Gleim myself, I was impressed by the sheer number of questions, its broad coverage, and the quality of its test bank. For me, though, that same volume could make it difficult to know where to begin.
Before diving into individual topics and questions, I wanted to see the whole picture and understand how the ideas connected. I created this web app as a supplement that learners can use alongside their main study materials and question banks.
Manga is a familiar part of my Japanese background, so I included it alongside diagrams and tables. These visuals help learners follow transactions and understand why the numbers change, then connect those insights to their main study materials.
WHO IT IS FOR
Manga Ledger supplements your main course and question bank. Use it to explore the U.S. CPA, work through a confusing topic or review what you have learned, alongside the materials you already use.
Start with a free Unit to see what the exam covers. Find out whether the topics interest you before beginning a comprehensive course.
When a topic in your main course is confusing, open the relevant Unit and work through the conditions and decision process. Record the reasoning that made sense to you, then return to practice.
WHY VISUAL?
Before studying detailed rules, see where the topic fits into the bigger picture.
Short explanations, diagrams, tables and manga turn transactions and decisions into a scene you can follow.
Use that map to organize what you learn in your main course and question bank, then build a deeper understanding.
AN HONEST MESSAGE
Preparing for the exam requires broad coverage and substantial practice. Manga Ledger helps you clarify difficult topics so you can return to your main course with a clearer understanding.
See the relationships in manga and diagrams, then test your understanding with questions that change the conditions. Explain the reasoning in your own words and carry it into your next study session.
Having struggled with studying myself, I believe making learning enjoyable helps people stick with it.
THE GOAL
Use Manga Ledger to connect the concepts, then deepen your understanding with your own course and question bank.
My goal is to make it easy to find the topic you need whenever you get stuck.
